Alvaro Uribe

The designer Alvaro Uribe, American-born, Colombian-raised, and New York-based, after graduating from Pratt Institute with honors, established his own boutique and design studio in the burgeoning design hub of Brooklyn. His iconic Plum Series garnered worldwide attention, earning two Red Dot Design Awards and catching the interest of luxury car manufacturer BMW, who featured the collection in the introduction of their BMW i8 Car in Beijing. Alvaro's work is dedicated to storytelling through design, collaborating closely with renowned brands such as Rosenthal, Nambe, Chobani, Glade, and Slide.
