Topylabrys, born Ornella Piluso, presents in 2023 a series of works resulting from her research and experimentation between art and design. This year, the artist creates a large number of collaborations, such as Plef and Villa Manzoli exhibitions, all strictly in the sign of reuse and sustainability.

Thanks to the collaboration with the artist, our waste or second-rate production turns into a new life, becoming polyethylene artworks and installations. "Plastic, although much feared, is after all a naturally derived material, the responsibility lies with human beings and the way they handle it," said the artist. Thanks to his visionary spirit, SLIDE products, creatively modified, cut and joined with respect to the actual use of the product, become installations and acquire new forms and functionality, as in the case of 'Olfactory Art'.

Topylabrys' activity of formal investigation in a context of mutual contamination between technology and art, gives rise to serious and meticulous research and development work at the basis of one and the other, making their combination plausible and stimulating for both.
